📄 Refund & Return Policy — FoldWindows INC (Final Version)

FoldWindows INC manufactures custom-built hurricane-rated windows and doors, made specifically to your measurements, color, configuration, and options. Because every order is individually produced, all sales are final and non-cancelable once the order is placed.

1. Custom Orders — No Cancellations, No Refunds

All FoldWindows products are custom-made.
For this reason:

❌ Orders cannot be canceled under any circumstances.

❌ No refunds will be issued for custom products.

This applies even if:

  • The customer changes their mind

  • The project is canceled

  • Wrong size was provided

  • The customer no longer needs the product

  • A contractor made a mistake

  • Real estate plans change

Once the order is placed, materials and glass are committed exclusively for your project and cannot be resold.

2. Customer Measurement Responsibility

FoldWindows INC is not responsible for:

  • Incorrect measurements submitted by the customer

  • Incorrect installation

  • Frame/wall misalignment by contractor

  • Structural issues during installation

Products built to incorrect customer sizes are not refundable or replaceable.

3. If WE Ship the Wrong Item

If you receive an item that does not match the order you placed, we will correct the mistake immediately.

➡️ We will send a NEW replacement at no cost.

No return is required unless we specifically request it.

To process a replacement, the customer must provide:

  • Order number

  • Photos of the item received

  • Description of the issue

4. Damage Upon Delivery

Customers MUST inspect the shipment at delivery.

If damaged:

  • Write “DAMAGED” on the delivery receipt

  • Take photos/videos

  • Notify us within 24 hours

We will file a freight claim and provide replacements according to insurance rules.

Failure to document damage may void eligibility.

5. No Returns

Because all products are custom-manufactured:

❌ Returns are not accepted under any circumstances.

Even unused items cannot be returned.

6. Lead Time Delays

Lead times are estimates.
Delays caused by suppliers, carriers, engineering, weather, or factory load do not qualify for cancellations or refunds.

7. Chargebacks

Filing a chargeback for a valid custom order is considered fraud.
We will provide:

  • Signed order confirmations

  • Customer measurements

  • Production records

  • Shipping evidence

to dispute fraudulent claims.
